I made this bread using my favourite butter bread recipe. I would like to thank Mellie (Nurkochen) for sharing this great versatile bread recipe at her website. The recipe yields 2 loaves of bread and I usually make 1 sweet (with chocolate chips) and 1 savoury which is my cheese bread.
Me being lazy, I just use my breadmachine to knead the dough but I would leave the dough to further proof for another 30 minutes after the end of the dough cycle.

Additional ingredients
Haloumi cheese, chopped (amount is up to you)
Chopped butter for sprinkling
Sugar
Shredded cheese (cheddar and/or mozzarella)
After you have rolled out the dough, spread melted butter on the dough and sprinkle chopped haloumi cheese . Roll the dough tightly like rolling a swiss roll and let it proof for the second time. Before you put it into the oven to bake, use a sharp knife and make a slash on the bread, sprinkle chopped butter, sugar and followed by shredded cheddar cheese or cheddar/mozzarella. Bake it until the top turns golden brown.
To get what you see in the photo, slice the bread and toast it. Spread the toast with butter and sprinkle parsley flakes. Great to have it with soup or gratin.
Enjoy :)
