HI Zu i read somewhere that if using diary whipping cream, we have to add sugar. if yes, how much sugar do i need to add if i use the UHT whipping cream which i assume is same as diary whipping cream. thks octopusmum
For the sides, you need to have a long strip of plastic that is enough to cover the diameter of the cake. Using melted chocolate, just do some pattern on it. Let it set and before it hardens, wrap around the cake and let it completely set in the refrigerator. Once set, remove the plastic.
As for the cherries, I get the dark sweetened cherries in the can which you can purchase from Sunlik.

Hi Octopusmum,
Of course you can use diary whipping cream but make sure you don't overbeat it :-)

hi octopusmum,
Yes similar to non-dairy cream. I don't have a specific amount but I add 1tbsp at a time and taste it.

Hi Zu
May I know how to make the chocolate decor (strip type) along the sides of cake.
Also, you mentioned dark cherries for the layering, is it the canned blueberry fillings that I used to buy from SUnlik?
Thanks.
